Belt or roller conveyor?

A belt carries the part on a continuous surface, so it suits small, light, irregular or unstable parts and can run inclines. A roller conveyor needs a rigid flat base spanning at least three rollers, but allows accumulation and handles heavier loads with less drive power.

What is an indexing conveyor for?

It advances a fixed pitch then stops, so every station gets an identical dwell with the part stationary and located. Automated stations need that; a continuously moving belt cannot provide it.

Can it integrate with our existing machines?
