Welding Fixtures
Welding Fixture Manufacturer in Pune
VR Automation designs and manufactures welding fixtures and robotic welding fixtures that locate components accurately and hold them square while the weld cools.
Locating the part is the easy half. Welds pull as they shrink, so a fixture that only locates will still let the assembly move out of square — ours are designed with clamping and heat path considered together.

Machine Features & Types
Rigid, Repeatable Location
Datum scheme taken from your drawing, so every part sits the same way and the robot programme stays valid.
Distortion Control
Clamping and heat path designed together to hold the assembly square through weld shrinkage.
Robot Cell Ready
Torch access designed for reach without collision or awkward wrist positions.
Fast Clamping
Toggle, pneumatic or manual clamping chosen for the cycle time and operator ergonomics.
Poka-Yoke Features
Physical prevention of wrong-way or missing-component loading before the arc strikes.
Retrofit Friendly
Fixtures built to drop into an existing robot cell or manual welding bay.
Our Welding Fixture Range
3 products in this category. Prices are indicative and ex-works — tooling and component fixture are quoted against your part.

Industries We Serve
Automotive Weldments
Brackets, frames, mounts and sub-assemblies in volume.
Fabrication Shops
Batch weldments needing consistent geometry piece to piece.
Furniture & Enclosures
Frames and cabinets where squareness is visible in the finished product.
Structural Assemblies
Multi-component weldments with tight positional tolerance.
Agricultural Equipment
Heavy weldments and implement frames.
Electrical Cabinets
Enclosure frames and mounting structures.
Applications & Components
Tooling and fixture are engineered per component. These are the applications we are asked for most often:
Why Buy From VR Automation
Built to Your Drawing
Tooling and component fixture are engineered around your part, so the machine arrives ready to run rather than needing development on your floor.
Repeatable Output
Force, stroke and cycle are set by the machine, so joint quality stops depending on operator strength or fatigue late in a shift.
Made in India
Locally engineered and locally supported, priced against Indian production cost rather than import landed cost.
Installation & Service
Commissioning, operator training, spares and service support across India, since 2019.
Designed, machined, assembled and tested in-house at our Bhosari, Pune facility. You deal with the engineers who build the machine, not a trading intermediary — which keeps lead times short and spares available for the working life of the machine.
Price & Quotation
Price depends on force, capacity, tooling, automation level and the component fixture, so a catalogue figure would be misleading. We quote against your actual part.
To receive a quotation, send us:
- Component drawing or sample details
- Material, thickness and joint or feature positions
- Target cycle time and production volume per shift
- Whether you need standalone, semi-automatic or fully inline operation
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a welding fixture?
A welding fixture locates and clamps components in the correct relationship to one another and holds them there while the weld is made and cools, so the finished assembly matches the drawing.
Why do welded assemblies come out of square?
Weld metal shrinks as it cools and pulls the parts with it. A fixture that only locates the parts without resisting that shrinkage will still allow distortion — clamping and heat path have to be designed together.
Do you build fixtures for robotic welding cells?
Yes. Robotic welding puts the entire accuracy burden on the fixture, since the robot welds exactly where it is told. We design for rigid repeatable location and clear torch access.
Can you build a fixture for our existing robot?
Yes. We build fixtures to drop into existing robot cells and manual welding bays, designed around the cell’s reach and mounting arrangement.
What do you need to quote a welding fixture?
Component drawing with datums, weld positions and sizes, material and thickness, production volume and cycle time, and whether the fixture is for manual or robotic welding.
