What is an automatic screwing machine?

It feeds a screw to the driver, positions it and drives it to a preset torque automatically, so the operator only loads and unloads the component.

Why is torque control important?

Under-torque leaves a joint that works loose in service; over-torque strips the thread or cracks a plastic boss. Machine torque control makes the result repeatable and, where needed, recordable.

Can it detect a missed screw?

Yes. Screw count and torque verification are used to prevent an assembly passing with a screw missing or incorrectly seated.
