Leak Testing Machine Manufacturer in India

VR Automation designs and manufactures automatic air leak
testing machines
using the pressure decay method — delivering an
objective PASS/FAIL result in seconds, with every machine built around your component.

We replace water-bath bubble testing with a dry, repeatable, recordable measurement that can be
logged against a part number for customer audit and traceability.

Machine Features

Pressure Decay Testing

Seals, fills, stabilises and measures pressure drop across a fixed window — the proven method for sealed components.

PLC & HMI Control

Touchscreen operator interface with recipe storage, so one machine tests multiple part numbers without re-qualification.

Automatic PASS / FAIL

Judgement made by the PLC against a programmed limit — the result never depends on who is on shift.

Data Logging

Test results recorded and exportable against the part number for traceability and customer audit requirements.

Custom Sealing Fixtures

Every sealing fixture is engineered to your component’s ports, geometry and clamping needs — built in-house.

Inline Integration

Standalone bench, semi-automatic or fully inline with automatic clamping, loading and rejection of failed parts.

How Pressure Decay Leak Testing Works

Fill

The sealing fixture closes on the component and air is admitted until the programmed test pressure is reached.

Stabilise

A dwell lets compression heating settle. Skip this and thermal effects read exactly like a leak — the commonest cause of false rejects.

Test

Supply is isolated and pressure drop is measured across a fixed window, then compared to the reject limit.

Judge

The PLC issues PASS or FAIL, logs the result, and on automatic systems diverts rejected parts.

Industrial Use & Quality Standards

Repeatable & Objective

Machine judgement against a programmed limit removes operator subjectivity inherent in bubble testing.

Traceability Ready

Logged results per part number support customer audits, PPAP submissions and internal quality records.

Built & Tested In-House

Machined, assembled, calibrated and run-off at our own Pune facility before dispatch — never traded.

Long-Term Support

Installation, operator training, spares and service across India for the working life of the machine.

Our Leak Testing Machine

VR Automation leak testing machine for automotive and engineering components

Leak Testing Machine

Air pressure decay leak tester with PLC control, HMI recipe selection and automatic PASS/FAIL
output. Sealing fixture built to your component. Available as a standalone bench unit or
integrated inline with automatic rejection.

Leak Testing Machine Price

Price depends on test pressure, number of stations, sealing fixture complexity and level of
automation — a single-station bench tester and a fully inline system with automatic rejection are
very different machines. Rather than publish a misleading figure, we quote against your actual component.

To receive a quotation, send us:

  1. Component drawing or sample details
  2. Material and internal volume
  3. Required test pressure and maximum permissible leak rate
  4. Target cycle time and production volume per shift
  5. Whether you need standalone, inline or fully automatic operation

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a leak testing machine?

A leak testing machine seals a component, pressurises it with air and measures whether pressure is lost over a fixed test window. If the drop exceeds the programmed limit the machine issues a FAIL. It replaces water-bath bubble testing with a dry, objective, recordable result.

How does a pressure decay leak tester work?

The component is sealed and filled to the set test pressure, the pressure is allowed to stabilise, then the air supply is isolated and the pressure drop is measured over the test window. That decay is compared against a reject limit and the machine gives an automatic PASS or FAIL.

What test pressure range do your machines cover?

Our leak testers are built for test pressures from 0 to 50 bar, set per component. Low-pressure work such as plastic tanks and high-pressure work such as fuel rails are both covered, with pressure configured as part of the test recipe.

What leak rate can the machine detect?

Sensitivity extends to 1 × 10-5 mbar·l/s. The practical detectable leak rate for your part also depends on its internal volume and the test time your cycle allows, so we confirm this against your component before quoting.

Can one machine test more than one component?

Yes. Test pressure, stabilisation time, test time and reject limit are stored as recipes on the HMI, so one machine can test several part numbers. Each part normally needs its own sealing fixture.

Do you supply automatic leak testers for production lines?

Yes. We supply inline automatic leak testing systems with automatic clamping and sealing, PLC-controlled test cycles, automatic rejection of failed parts and data logging for traceability.

Are you a manufacturer or a supplier?

We are a manufacturer. Design, machining, assembly, testing and dispatch all happen at our own facility in Bhosari, Pune, and we supply across India.
