An air-operated clinching machine for light-gauge sheet work, where the whole force requirement is met directly by a pneumatic cylinder running off the existing shop air ring main. The simplest and lowest running-cost way to put a mechanical joint into thin sheet.

What air pressure does it need?

It is sized against the 5–7 bar typically available at an Indian plant. Force is directly proportional to line pressure, so we specify the air preparation unit against your actual supply rather than assuming it.

When should I move up to a hydro-pneumatic clincher?

When the sheet stack needs more than roughly 3 tonnes. Past that, cylinder bore grows impractically large and an air-over-oil intensifier gives the force from the same air supply.

Does the joint stay leak resistant?

A round-point clinch produces a closed button that resists leakage well for general fabrication. For a sealed pressure application, tell us the requirement and we will advise whether clinching alone is appropriate.
