Frequently Asked Questions

Why use a fixture rather than just a torque driver?

A torque driver controls how hard the screw is driven, not where it goes or how square it enters. The fixture controls position and squareness, which is what prevents cross-threading in the first place.

Can it be upgraded to automation later?

Often yes. A well-designed fixture with proper datums is the foundation an auto screwing station is built on, so the design work is not wasted.
