About the Riveting Pneumatic Machine

An air-operated riveting press for production assembly, setting the rivet in a single controlled stroke from the shop air supply. Suited to the 0.5 to 3 tonne band where a pneumatic cylinder delivers the force directly, with no hydraulics to maintain.

Which rivet types can it set?

Solid, tubular and semi-tubular rivets, with the tooling changed to suit. Blind and pop rivets use a pulling tool rather than a forming press.

What decides the force needed?

Rivet diameter and rivet material, primarily. Send the rivet drawing or a sample and we will size the machine rather than have you guess a tonnage.

Can it be built into an automated cell?

Yes. The head can be integrated into a special purpose machine or index table, with part-presence sensing and force or height monitoring where the joint has to be verified.
